| Summary | Cultural diplomacy offers the opportunity to engage nations outside the political arena and develop a foundation of support that extends past the immediate circumstances. While valuable, in the United States cultural diplomacy has received only intermittent attention. This study analyzes the reasons why there is so little government support for cultural diplomacy in the United States, the current environment of U.S. cultural diplomacy and its prospects for the future. |
