| Summary | Due to the fact that the South Caucasus gained greater significance after the 2007 enlargement, my thesis aims at analyzing the EU interests in the region, detailing the geopolitical implications after the latest accession round. I argue that there are a number of reasons which determine the geopolitical importance of the South Caucasus for the EU. |
