Summary | This paper is devoted to an analysis of constitutional aspects of consumer protection in the EU. Both legislation and case law will be investigated. The protection of the consumer at the EU level will be scrutinized to assess its desirability and scope in order to propose the ways of its future development to achieve more effective consumer protection. This paper was made out as a LL.M. Final Thesis at the Central European University, Budapest.
