| Title | Post-Holocaust Pogroms in Hungary and Poland |
| Summary | This thesis compares violent attacks suffered by Holocaust survivors in post-war Poland and Hungary. I argue that although the backgrounds of the two countries were different, certain factors occasionally resulted in similar pogroms in approximately the same time. During the thesis I analyze these factors in the context of the Kraków and Kielce pogroms in Poland, and the Kunmadaras pogrom and the Miskolc riots in Hungary. |
