Title CRITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS OF POST-1989 HUNGARIAN HISTORIOGRAPHY IN VOJVODINA
Summary This thesis aims to present the results of a research carried out on post-1989 minority Hungarian historiography in Vojvodina, Serbia. Special focus is dedicated to the historical narratives regarding the events of World War II and the early years of the communist regime, which were characterized by severe inter-ethnic conflicts in the region. The aim of the investigation was to examine whether post-socialist transformational narratives managed to contribute to reconciliation with the past, or rather served as tools to legitimize nationalism.
