| Title | The gains of ethnic conflict? |
| Summary | The thesis presents a CDA analysis performed on newspaper articles about the ethnic conflict that had occured 20 years ago in Tirgu-Mures, Transylvania, and compares them with an empirical study based on interviews collected from viewers of the play called 20/20, which is based on oeral histories coming from participants in the conflict. Comparing the two types of data and their discursive strategies, one can see whether any processof negotiating collective memories can be mentioned. |
