| Summary | The aim of the thesis is to analyze the feasibility of the cross-border transfer of the registered office. By describing the provisions of the freedom of establishment and conflicts of laws rules the conclusion is reached that the transaction is at the present state practically impossible. The only available option under secondary legislation are not much at use either, since they constitute long lasting and cumbersome procedures. The 14 th Company law directive is therefore more than welcome to address the issue directly |
