| Summary | Relations between petty corruption and ethnicity in Transcarpathia (Zakarpattia Oblast), Ukraine. The thesis studies interactions between Hungarians and Rusyns, Ukrainians and Russians and seeks to explain the political strategies which result in an institutionalized isolation of the Hungarian community, although inter-ethnic relations are permanent and ethnic self-categorization between the various groups is contentious. |
