| Summary | This thesis deals with the case study of students from Voivodina who have enrolled in the University of Zagreb's Faculty of Medicine since its establishment in 1917 until 1946, the year that marks the beginning of opening a greater number of faculties at the Zagreb University. The aim of this thesis was to explore the socio-economic background of Voivodina students in order to help gain an insight into general processes of social mobility and social inclusion in Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Independent State of Croatia and Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. To familiarize readers with this topic, the history of the Zagreb Medical Faculty and short history of Voivodina was also included in the body of the thesis. |
