| Summary | This thesis is going to focus on discussing effective criminal legal aid in criminal justice system. The thesis will engage in discussing the effective criminal legal by doing comparison analysis of three jurisdictions which are England and Wales, Tanzania and South Africa. There is an assertion that criminal legal aid is not offered in Tanzania, in practice criminal legal aid is limited to crimes of treason and murder. Therefore this thesis will comparatively discuss what it entails to be criminal legal aid and its importance in criminal justice system |
