Title Remedial Secession Under International Law: Analysis of Kosovo, Abkhazia and South Ossetia
Summary Thesis evaluated the value of the principle of remedial secession under current day international law. In order to detect existence of the principle, thesis analysis traditional sources of international law in systematic manner. Later on Analysis of Kosovo is employed to evaluate whether or not it achieved the status of legal precedent capable of materializing customary rule of remedial secession.Lastly, thesis exemines the case studies of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, to establish whether they qualify for remedial secession and whether they affirmed or decreased legal value of the law on remedial secession.
