| Summary | The research paper examines both economic and regulatory aspects of the credit rating agencies (CRA) and their leading role in global financial crises, as well as gives detailed analyses of the ratings services provided by the Big Three CRA. The primary focus of this paper is on the comparison of the credit rating agencies services’ regulations before the subprime mortgage crises, during the global financial crises and after it both in USA and in Europe. It provides the examples of some major issues brought against the Big three rating agencies for their failures to meet the certain requirements in the light of the Global financial crises. |
