| Summary | The thesis attempts to show the continuity between the Enlightenment and the national movement in Croatia during the 1830s and 1840s. It approaches the main documents and programs of the national revival and compares them with the basics of Enlightenment thought. Secondly, the thesis looks at the direction that the study of history took due to political influences. |
