| Title | Germany's Changing Discourse on Out-of-area missions |
| Summary | Abstract: The thesis analyzes the German foreign policy discourse through three cases studies: the Gulf War, Kosovo and Libya. The aim is to see if and how the discourse has changed since the reunification of the country. It will be shown through the method of the discourse analysis that the Germany no longer fits in the ideal type of the Civilian power model developed by Hann W. Maull, but the politicians in the Bundestag still frame their discourse in the framework of the model. |
