| Title | Constitutional Protection of the Right to social security in Tanzania, Kenya and South Africa |
| Summary | The thesis looks on justiciability of the right to social security, one of the rights recognized by the International Covenant on economic, social and Cultural rights. The thesis focuses on how constitutions and courts in the three jurisdictions selected provide for and interpret states' obligation to the fulfillment of this right.Among other things, the author was pushed by the Tanzania constitutional review process 2011 which, although aimed at addressing economic and social problems which were facing Tanzania under the 1977 constitution ended up repeating the same faults of putting economic and social rights as non justiciable. |
