Title Employing Sartre and Foucault's Accounts of Imagination, Human Existence and Freedom for Feminist Projects
Summary In my thesis I am exploring links between imagination, human existence and freedom. While I am presenting Sartre’s account to discuss the connection between imagination and metaphysical freedom, I am following Foucault’s account to see the role specific political, geographic or corporeal factors play in the way we imagine. I am employing both of the accounts to discuss modern day feminist issues and to see how certain feminist projects can be developed.
