| Title | The Banking and Sovereign Feedback Loop in the euro area: Determinants of Transmission and Governance |
| Summary | The paper describes the relationship of banking and sovereign and identifies fueling conditions accelerating the transmission of risks. Therefore, these factors are analyzed within a panel regression model, using data from 7 euro area countries throughout the euro debt crisis. The paper ends with policy implications, discussing the lender of last resort role and the ongoing installation of a Banking Union. |
