| Summary | Assessing the impact of UN interventions is the foundation for evidence-based policy making. This paper links the general assessment of causality in impact evaluation to the topic of UN interventions through an in-depth analysis of the coherence and differences of research paper results as well as their methodological shortcomings. Thereby, it analysis what the impact of UN humanitarian interventions is and how the challenges of a valid impact evaluation are to be met. |
