| Title | Point processes on locally compact groups and their cost |
| Summary | In this thesis we study point processes on locally compact groups from the measured group theoretic perspective. We look at the connection between point processes and countable Borel equivalence relations. We also define the cost of a point process and prove certain groups have fixed price one. Lastly, we show how cost can be used to determine information about asymptotic invariants of lattices in a fixed group. |
