| Title | Study on the Hungarian Venture Capital Landscape |
| Summary | The project aims to create investment profiles (one-pagers) on the fifteen most influential Hungarian venture capital investor. The purpose of the investment profiles is to collect all publicly available data on the selected investors to support startup founders who are seeking equity investment. Two interviews with venture capitalists were conducted to channel in their views on some topics. The methodology of the project is desktop research on the venture capitals, mainly using Forbes articles, venture capitals’ website, database of S&P Capital IQ, Crunchbase, Pitchbook and Rocket Shepherd. The collected data supports the fact that the most essential investors are corporate, or government backed. Most of the venture capitals invest from the seed or the startup life stage. Regarding their industry scope a large part of the investors are generalist, while others prefer attractive sectors like FinTech, GreenTech, MedTech. |
