| Summary | As industrial hemp makes a return to the global agriculture scene, it is met both with great enthusiasm and staunch opposition. On one hand there seems to be great potentials in regards of farmer's incomes, environmentally friendly farming practices and products, as well as a vast field of medicinal uses for the crop, while on the other, a possibility for misuse and foul play, in relation to illegal cannabis farming. The truth, as usual, lays in the middle and this thesis takes a look into some of the realities of claims laid down by both the proponents and opponents of hemp. |
