| Summary | This thesis explores women's inheritance rights in Kosovo, examining the influence of cultural norms and practices on their access to inheritance. Using an intersectional feminist lens, the study engages with feminist scholars' work on gender, human rights, and culture to understand the complexities of inheritance practices. Through a literature review and interviews, the research aims to uncover women's motivations and choices regarding inheritance claims. It critically analyzes cultural values and traditions, highlighting both the empowering and discriminatory aspects. The study recognizes the importance of addressing gender inequality while respecting cultural practices.
