| Title | Green Warriors, Within the Green Line: The Impact of Environmental Activism on Environmental Policymaking in Israel |
| Summary | This thesis seeks to understand the extent of the influence of Israeli environmental activist groups on public policymaking. Through a discourse analysis of various primary and secondary sources, it traces the evolution of the discourse in a diachronic manner as well as through the interpretations that can be gleaned between the lines. Furthermore, it attempts to understand why the environmentalist movement in Israel is behind on environmental justice issues, especially in combining environmental concerns with issues of human rights and social justice. |
