| Summary | Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors have become crucial in business transformation, with mandatory ESG reporting starting in 2025 for qualifying organizations. The Capstone Project supported a major Hungarian bank in a sectoral analysis of decarbonization opportunities within their financed portfolio. The project focused on understanding decarbonization potential across Logistics, Electricity, and Commercial Real Estate & Mortgages sectors in eight countries where the Bank operates. The Bank aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, focusing on financing businesses that meet their sustainability criteria. |
