| Summary | The thesis discusses flexibility of the concept of territorial autonomy when applied to substate nations. The two case studies (South Tyrol and the Basque Country) test particular assumptions of scholars on effects of territorial autonomy. Final conclusions discuss the comparison of both cases and general applicability of findings. |
