Summary A qualitative investigation of ownership issues in Bulgarian private mass media, including newspapers, television and to a lesser extent radio. The paper features semi-standardized interviews with anonymous journalists, who are asked about practices of freedom breach during their work. The end goal is to provide an updated and insightful observation on the patterns of ownership influence on free speech in Bulgarian media.
