| Title | A Generalization of the Selberg Trace Formula |
| Summary | A generalization of the Selberg trace formula is developed in the thesis for the Hilbert modular groups. This modification of the trace formula was first given by András Biró for finite volume Fuchsian groups. The Hilbert modular groups are multidimensional analogues of these, that is, discrete subgroups of the group PSL(2,R)^n for some n>1. They act on a product of complex upper half-planes hence this work is a multidimensional generalization of the result of András Biró. |
