| Summary | A thesis in the mathematical discipline of Differential Geometry. In this thesis we consider the problem of classifying Riemannian 3- manifolds with the property that that the total scalar curvature about arbitrary curves depend only on length and radius. To handle this problem, we attempt to develop an abstraction that reduces problems in geometry to problems in Algebra in the same way that Lie correspondence theorems reduce questions about Lie groups to questions about Lie algebras. |
