Title | Leadership during the War: Analyzing the Leadership Styles of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and General Valerii Zaluzhnyi during War against Ukrainian |
Summary | The leadership styles of General Valerii Zaluzhnyi and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy are examined in this research between February 2022 and February 2024. It analyzes public perceptions and leadership effectiveness by integrating qualitative and quantitative data via the use of a mixed-methods research approach. The study examines the differences between Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi's leadership styles—charismatic and communicative vs strategic and command-oriented, respectively. The results underscore the critical interaction between military and political leadership, stressing the role that public perception and adaptability play in maintaining authority in times of crisis. The connection between political and military leadership in a crisis environment is shown through longitudinal and comparative analysis. By highlighting the particular difficulties and approaches faced in the Ukrainian context, this study adds to the larger conversation on crisis leadership and provides valuable insights for political scholars and policymakers in the fields of political governance and conflict management. |
